Restoring a Tea Cart

Surprise! A family heirloom, this tea cart was graciously lent to a friend for an extended length of time. They accepted his offer to refinish the cart never expecting it to be returned with a white crackle finish. We were asked to return the cart to the original finish and color, sans the crackle!

A crackle finish is a faux painting technique that creates a weathered look with the appearance of old paint layers. It comes this way out of the can, so it’s easy to instantly create a new finish, regardless of how you feel about it.
