Better Than New, Inside and Out
From better padding to fresh springs to brand new fabric, our furniture upholstery experts can give your chairs and sofas life for years to come.

Valparaiso, Crown Point & Michigan City Furniture Upholstery

New furniture upholstery can completely change the look of your piece, not to mention the room in which it sits. We start by improving the frame, springs and cushions, and, with over 15,000 fabric selections to choose from, you can have no doubt that you’ll find the perfect fabric to bring new life to your chair or sofa.

Our Furniture Upholstery Process

Remove Fabric & Replace Springs

First, we remove all existing fabric and padding. Then, we tighten frame joints with glue and screws as necessary to make sure your frame is solid and sturdy.

If you find you are sinking too deep into a chair or sofa, we can replace the springs with stronger ones. Coil springs are rebuilt with nylon webbing for strength and with the traditional 8-way hand tie.

Replace Padding

If your cushions are worn out, they can be refilled with new firm foam, down or a combination of foam and down. We have samples of cushion replacement fillings so you can select your ideal comfort level.

Reupholster with New Fabric

We offer over 15,000 fabric selections from Greenhouse and Merchandise Mart designers Robert Allen, Kravet and Duralee. Browse our sample books here in-store, or take a few home with you to see how they work with your décor. Feel free to bring in a picture of the piece you’re looking to have reupholstered and the room it sits in and we’d be happy to help you select a fabric.

Of course, we’re happy to work with your own fabric as well.

To add strength to the seams, we apply self welt (cording), or double sew for a more contemporary look.
