Our Furniture Upholstery Process

Remove Fabric & Replace Springs

We will begin by meticulously stripping away the current fabric and padding, leaving a clean canvas. We’ll use precise measures to reinforce and fortify frame joints to guarantee exceptional stability and strength. If you find that you’ve been sinking in your chair or sofa, we’ll replace the springs with resilient alternatives. We will rebuild coil springs with nylon webbing for added durability as well as the traditional 8-way hand tie to ensure a seamless restoration that enhances both comfort and support.

Replace Padding

If your cushions are exhibiting signs of wear, we will replenish them with firm, high-quality foam, luxurious down, or a combination of both. We have samples of cushion replacement fillings so you can select your ideal comfort level.

Reupholster with New Fabric

We offer over 15,000 fabric selections from Greenhouse Fabrics, Charlotte Fabrics, and Merchandise Mart designers Robert Allen, Kravet, and Stout Textiles.

You can browse our fabric sample books in-store or take a few home with you to see how they work with your décor. If you need some guidance, feel free to bring in a picture of the piece you want reupholstered and the room it sits in, and we would be more than happy to help you select a fabric. We will also work with your own fabric as well. To add strength to the seams, we apply self-welt cording, or double sew for a more contemporary look.
