A wood worker’s daughter brought this cabinet to us in pieces from Valparaiso, Indiana. Her father planned to put it back together for her, but he passed away before he got the chance. Our craftsmen stepped in to finish the job for her and her father. The cabinet was in such bad shape Art had to recreate all the little curved pieces along the top, relying on the last standing piece for the pattern. As shown, the cabinet has interesting inlays that could possibly tell a story. What story do you think the cabinet’s inlays are telling?
