In 1939, Louis Butcher, Sr. opened a furniture restoration and repair service in the South Shore area of Chicago, dedicated to providing an unparalleled level of care and craftsmanship. As a boy, Lou Butcher, Jr. helped in his dad's shop, learning the tools of the trade from his father and his team of European craftsmen. Today, Lou and the Furniture Werks team work each day to preserve the story each piece shares with the same expert craftsmanship, quality care and dependability as Lou Sr. did, 80 years prior.
